This upcoming Tuesday, December 9th, 2014, ELK will be celebrating 2014’s 5th Annual Colorado Gives Day! Just exactly what is Colorado Gives Day, you might be wondering? As described by ColoradoGives.org, “Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy in Colorado through online giving. Community First Foundation, a community foundation serving metro Denver, created the initiative in 2010 with the financial support of Colorado-based FirstBank”. So what exactly does this mean for ELK and the incredible youth that we serve? Your support on Colorado Gives Day will give ELK the means to Inspire, Educate and Transform Denver’s underserved urban youth this winter through programs such as snowshoeing, ice fishing, and college campus tours!
Check out ELK’s donation page on ColoradoGives.org to help us reach our goal of $10,000, helping ELK provide underserved, urban youth with access to the outdoors, science education and opportunities to explore careers in the STEM fields!
