It’s finally here! Tomorrow, the 6th annual National Get Outdoors Day will be hosted all over the nation and will be asking families to get outdoors, get active and stay healthy. The best part – it’s free!!
That’s right, free. Thanks to the support of numerous government, non-profit and for-profit organizations, GO Day helps to provide fun outdoor activities and outdoor information for the whole family. We invite you all to join the ELK team as we make our way out to the Lily pond in City Park where we will be helping Colorado Parks and Wildlife with their “Take a Family Fishing” activity. Volunteers and staff will be available around the area to assist kids and parents as they try their hand at catching their very own fish. Together we can get up, get active and get involved while we help to cultivate an appreciation for the great outdoors in Colorado’s youth.
Hope to see you then!
